For more than twenty
years people have made BC Coastal explorations with EXPLORE! CHARTERS.
Unlike typical cruises, we can reach the most intimate places on the coast
of British Columbia. Rather than spending time on a large ship where you
might get to see scenery from the rail of the vessel, we drop anchor and
get up close and personal with nature. These trips are known as eco tours,
kayak mothership tours, or green tours. Our philosophy has remained the same for many years. Our tours are ecologically friendly while maintaining a NO impact policy to the environment. We often find ourselves slipping quietly along the majestic coastline by sail or motor sailing to our next destination, finding ourselves in pods of whales, viewing rivers bursting with spawning salmon, listening to the howling of the resident wolves, and seeking out the rare Kermode Bear. Traveling to remote destinations, we also bring along the conveniences of home. We travel with 8 guests for small intimate groups allowing for lots of room and personal attention and care. Whether your interest is wildlife, sea kayaking, or exploration, enjoy your adventure from the comforts of our 80’ North Sea Trawler. Able to sail,
you will enjoy the romance of the sea and sailing. Our itinerary is flexible
due to animal sightings, weather and the desires of our guests. Cruising
for several hours of the day allows plenty of time to walk along secluded
beaches, through ancient rainforests, up salmon filled streams, paddle
through misty fjords, view cascading waterfalls, and witness the natural
paradise that surrounds us. Our vessel, the 80’ ROLANO provides a high level of comfort and security as we travel at a leisurely pace. We enter into bays and passages to allow for a greater chance to view and witness wildlife. Anchoring in a serene bay at night allows our guests to bird watch, view marine mammals and take excursions ashore. Wake to the smells of fresh baked goods, coffee, and breakfast. Prepare for your days adventure that awaits you!
